A prince with a legacy of blood, a simple priest, an unstoppable romance in a world on the brink of civil war.

Dante, the Prince of Bloodeaters is in love with a human priest. Ten years ago, he threw his life to the wind in an effort to bring about change while escaping a fate he no longer wanted to face. One wintry night meeting John gave him a new purpose and drive as he joins him to live on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Lessons and promises made will lead Dante's internal struggles to places he didn't know he still had to face even now.

Viceroy Falco, Dante's ex-lover and overseer of Glensdale and capitol city to The House, wants an army of bloodeaters at his command. Conspiracies are whispered about his involvement in the prince's disappearance and the ailing king on the throne. Dante aims to stand in his way at every turn, but jealous and lust drive Falco to wanting more than just the magical dagger called The Fanged Lady. Though, there's a cost as the Viceroy's past abuse spurs Dante to action when his aim turns to Father John.

When Father John takes over the Glensdale church, he becomes a target for Falco's sadistic games. John is stubborn and bullheaded, unwilling to bend or retreat. Angry with Dante's decision to be his sword and shield with bruises and a bloodied lip to match. Aiming to find a solution for himself, Father John throw caution to the wind even if the cross branded on his back may lead to his death.

Dante is willing to sacrifice everything to keep Father John safe, and will he have to accept his position as Prince when the King falls ill?

How far will Dante go to protect the one he loves?

In fear of Falco's back up plan, Dante and John will join Princess Sonja and Royal Knight Valiente back to Captiva City. They plan on proposing a peace treaty with King Regius and search for answers about the origin of Soul Weapons. John believes those answers might be hidden in the catacomb library under The Church's cathedral.

Escorted by the Master Assassin Red Wine, Dante discovers family secrets he didn't expect to come forth. No longer satisfied as being John's shield, Dante trains with Red Wine to become not only a deadly assassin, but in order to master the art of fighting in the way his brother Ashton had once done.

Travelling proves difficult with hired mercenaries left in Falco’s wake, Fallen Arbor taking up interest in capturing Dante, and the Berserk Brigade looking to cash in on the bounty on their heads. Meanwhile, their relationship grows in unexpected ways and both struggle to keep their intimate desires hidden from the enemies who may take advantage.

The Assassin's Saint is Coming Soon!

Fangs itching, Dante struggles to unravel the secrets behind his bloodlust while he sates a need for violence by throwing himself into dangerous missions and fights.

Terahime is frozen over for winter, and time seems to slow to a stop as Dante and John must face the outcome of escaping Captiva City. The king has been assassinated, Red Wine is missing, Captiva City is on lock down, Fallen Arbor has bounties out for their heads, and John is fighting to cling to life.

Dante is guilt stricken as he cares for John on his death bed, their debts stacking up to great heights. The wound from Flintlock Betty taking its toll on both as even Henry the apothecary seems to fail at easing the infections for months. Soon the Guild calls Dante into action, and he’s caught between revenge and a strange need to gain experience. Armed with a soul weapon, he’s unraveling the past and present, building himself into something stronger, something more monstrous. Keeping secrets from John becomes difficult, his ability to see through Dante making the choices he wishes to make alone impossible to escape his notice including his new hobby taking part in the Blood Exchange fights.

John can’t believe how long it took him to stand back on his feet. A simple glance in a mirror shows how gaunt and withered he had become and fears the impact it took to Dante’s overall mental state. Despite it all, he’s hellbent on living up to the Saint’s Mark across his back and becoming a pillar for Dante, the beacon of hope for the whole of Grandemere. Confessions about what’s happening to him will come to light, complicating what bloodlust means for both star-crossed lovers: an addiction, a need, or even a curse of their own making. Regardless, Dante is keeping secrets again and John is wondering if he’s going to share anything at all. John is quick to remind Dante how they started this journey together.

Grandemere is changing as Fallen Arbor’s presence is now publicly known. As parleys of peace between the House and the Tower bring the Civil War to a truce, the people are talking more than ever. Rumors of Viceroy Falco’s demise by the Blood Prince and his priest have reached even Terahime. As the Ice Breaking Ceremony nears to ring in the start of Spring, the Blood Exchange is looking for the next Blood Champion of Terahime to compete in the Scarlett Isles. Will Dante choose to join the final rounds?

The Saint's Bloodeater is Coming Soon

The Ice Breaking Ceremony has started, and that means the ships will soon set sail with Dante’s target and entire world on board the Wind Hound.

Dante aimed to make it onto the ship in secret all to get a chance to snuff out the life of Marquis. He hadn’t been willing to leave John while he had been bedridden, but this mission will force him to leave John to the liable hands in town. After winning the title of Terahime’s Blood Champion, he is still met with adversity being a bloodeater and will have to convince the captain he’s trustworthy and not ravenous. When a deckhand volunteers to be his food source, Dante will become unraveled, and emotions will eat him alive. He’s been confined to the galley, adopting the role as the ship’s cook. Worse, he’s not allowed to leave without permission and being watched.

John can’t help but sense Dante’s restlessness. He’s been throwing himself into dangerous fights, he’s talking to his sword, and even participating the Guild missions. A lot of blood, both his and their enemies has been spilled during his recovery. When his guilt takes hold, he starts to stalk Dante in secret until it led him to an adventure on the high seas. Showing Dante he can hold his own may prove difficult, but under these confined conditions, it may open the opportunity for the two of them to at last let go of guilt and start working together. No more secrets. No more hiding. No more leaving one another behind to save the other.

Leaving Grandemere behind was easier than they ever thought it would be. With Fallen Arbor and revenge in hand, Dante and John will find themselves getting involved with the Merchant’s Guild. Now they must survive the next several weeks on the high seas surviving pirates, Fallen Arbor, and the hatred building in the crew because here, bloodeaters are not welcomed.
